You ever get that dreadful feeling in the pit of your stomach in the morning? Knowing you have to be at work at 7 AM sharp? Years of neglecting your needs can have a detrimental effect on the body. Stressful careers or high customer-contact jobs, day-in and day-out, can quickly lead to burnout and compassion fatigue.

Even knowing this, many people continue to pushing it beyond their limits and you know what else? -Many do not even enjoy their current work! For those that do, not enough self-care is in place to accommodate for the stress load.

Recognizing when you are feeling stressed a bit sooner, will come in handy when adapting to change. Additionally, implementing (and sticking to!) self-care strategies can help prevent burnout and relieve stress.
